Starlight Metals is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to support the planning, preparation, execution, and compliance management of commercial contracts, supplier agreements, and service arrangements. This role aligns with  Contract Administrator and provides essential administrative support that ensures contractual integrity, risk mitigation, and efficient communication across internal teams and external partners.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations, finance, and commercial stakeholders to help maintain accurate contract records, manage compliance, and support structured contract performance tracking in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Task & responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, agreements, and variations in line with organisational requirements
  • Maintain accurate contract databases, registers, and documentation systems
  • Monitor contractual deliverables, milestones, performance obligations, and compliance requirements
  • Assist in drafting proposals, pricing schedules, amendments, extensions, and renewals
  • Liaise with internal departments (operations, finance, procurement) to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Coordinate communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on contract matters
  • Identify, track and escalate contract risks, deviations, or compliance issues
  • Support audits, reporting, and internal reviews of contract performance
  • Ensure contract documentation aligns with company policies and legal requirements
  • Provide administrative support and documentation for tender submissions where required

Qualification & experience

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Contract Management, Commerce or related field
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in contract administration or a similar administrative function
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and contract databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Experience in industrial, logistics, recycling, supply chain, or commercial environments is advantageous
  • Understanding of commercial contracts, compliance frameworks, and regulatory obligations
