The Office Manager position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative operations of the business.
Key duties include:
Plan, implement and regularly review office administrative systems, policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and service delivery standards.
Establish office service benchmarks and set operational priorities aligned with business objectives.
Allocate staff resources, office space, equipment and administrative support to ensure smooth workflow and effective coordination of removals and storage operations.
Assign duties to administrative personnel, supervise daily work activities, and monitor staff performance to ensure productivity and service quality standards are met.
Manage office records, booking systems, client documentation and confidential files to ensure accuracy, accessibility and compliance.
Oversee office financial administration including invoice processing, account reconciliation, record keeping and internal reporting support.
Liaise with external professionals such as accountants, insurers, service providers and contractors to coordinate business operations and resolve issues efficiently.
Ensure office equipment, communication systems and IT infrastructure are maintained and fully operational.
Monitor office supply levels and coordinate procurement to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements within the office and operational environment.
Ensure all administrative processes comply with relevant Australian legislation, industry regulations, company policies and regulatory obligations.
Coordinate human resource functions including recruitment support, onboarding, performance management, staff supervision and workplace training.
Oversee payroll coordination and ensure personnel administration is managed accurately and in accordance with employment legislation.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
A relevant qualification or Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in an office management or administrative leadership role required.
Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proactive, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
